To assist in the preservation
and interpretation of the historic house and site as a
demonstration of early plantation life in south Louisiana, for
the education and enjoyment of present and future generations,
and to procure and manage the collection
 |
Coordinate and oversee the purchasing, maintenance,
repairs, appraisals and insurance of the Collection |
 |
Work in concert with the Executive Director and
staff in the implementation of the Master Plan
concerning the structures and landscaping on the
plantation |
 |
Coordinate and oversee the plantings and maintenance
of the Kitchen Garden |
 |
Produce a Black History Month event in concert with
the Executive Director and staff |
 |
Provide advisory and financial assistance for all
Educational Programming including House Tours, Kitchen
Workshops, Grandmother’s Attic, Traveling Trunk and
History Camp |
