To assist in the preservation and interpretation of the historic house and site as a demonstration of early plantation life in south Louisiana, for the education and enjoyment of present and future generations, and to procure and manage the collection

RESPONSIBILITIES:

	Coordinate and oversee the purchasing, maintenance, repairs, appraisals and insurance of the Collection
	Work in concert with the Executive Director and staff in the implementation of the Master Plan concerning the structures and landscaping on the plantation
	Coordinate and oversee the plantings and maintenance of the Kitchen Garden
	Produce a Black History Month event in concert with the Executive Director and staff
	Provide advisory and financial assistance for all Educational Programming including House Tours, Kitchen Workshops, Grandmother’s Attic, Traveling Trunk and History Camp
